Well made, Had weight indicator, pinches your hand and works out 2 fingers very well
this is like one of those old companies that has been around with a brand name that everyone recognzies but they rest on their brand recognition without offering newer features. Here's the issue.. this hurts my skin between the thumb and for-finger because with this design the hand slides up to the top and it's like using a pair of pliars, ever got your hand caught in the sharp part of the pliars that close? These are old timey designs. There are other models that handle the ergonomics better so that each finger has the same pressure applied. Notice when you squeeze it's mostly just your pointer and index finger applying most of the force. There is one redeeming quality with this one,.. well a few.. it's made well. It's also allows you to see the weight indicator your setting it at, not just some arbitrary resistance dial, which is good if your a weight lifter trying to track your progress... which seems like a very basic need for a weight machine.do I recommend it, ABSOLUTELY, if you're ok with getting your hand pinched and only exercising a few of your fingers in your grip. I totally recommend if you like that!

Beast
Best of the best.70kg is for office guys who do not go to the fitness center and need some occasional office exercise.80 and 90kg are for stronger guys. This metal baby is a hefty piece of very solid iron and I doubt that this will ever break. It's adjustable (not the strength) but the wide grip is adjustable with the small metal notch on top. So short fingers or long piano fingers do not matter. Sweet. It's a bit heavy but comfortable tool that looks cool on your office desk. I am a skinny guy (140lb) and I am using only the first 2 levels (20 and 30kg) and it's enough for me. I can squeeze the maximum set of 70kg but only once with extreme effort. I would recommend it despite the price since i honestly think this is a lifetime toy that will never break.

Beast mode
Love it, easy to adjust and well built. the texture on the grips is rough but good. Set it by the TV and GTG during commercials.

Great hand grip exerciser - I use it regularly.
Overall, I consider this a great product and worth the money, I recommend it.-Likes: the metal grips and overall product construction. Very sturdy. Spring tension is very good. Quite adjustable.-Dislikes: 1) The metal grip knurling. 2) The lack of an upper hand rest flare. 3) The front grip does not rotate. The metal knurling is quickly painful on the front grip, especially when it doesn't rotate a few degrees while squeezing. I resolved the knurling problem by removing the hex screw holding front grip and reversing it, so the smooth side is against the fingers - see photo. Also holding the hand grip could become too close to the frame parts at the top making it uncomfortable. There should be a type of hand rest or stop at the top of the grips to prevent this (see other photo of my older grip exerciser {~55 years old}). You can minimize this for a smaller hand with the convenient adjustments provided but that doesn't work for me - I have to carefully position the grip in my hand before using.

High Quality
Great quality. Just the right resistance for a senior. Easy to adjust for strength and width.

Spending more is worth it
I initially bought a cheaper plastic forearm crusher. It broke when I began using it at the max setting. This product is made of steel, and will keep me “crushing it” well into the future. Don’t waste your money on cheap alternatives.

Best grip exerciser I’ve ever had!
I want to begin by saying that I’m a very simple individual and through the course of my lifetime so far I’ve had maybe around a dozen grip exercisers , and I think I’ve reached the pinnacle with this particular model. It has the best mechanism, the smoothest action as you can see, with a little silicon tape, it can go a long way.As you’ve noticed, I went ahead with the GD 70 because I really didn’t see the necessity of paying extra for a metal handle that I was ultimately going to wrap as well as having ordered the finger exerciser which they adamantly told me I could not use or could not be installed on these models however, with a little ingenuity, and by using just a little shorter screws, and what came with the finger grip assembly Which is an M 6–1.0 50 mm bolt with a socket head of course it worked out fine and in addition it actually works as a stand which was another concern for not having wanting to pay $95 for something that’s only 40 pounds more at the highest level. If I get to that point, I probably won’t need a hand exerciser. I’ll just be flying around with a cape like a superhero!

Quality item - and better than the 80 or 90kg version too!
I originally purchased and ultimately sold the 80kg version of this gripper. This 70kg version is much better for me for two reasons. First, I have very good arm strength, but I'm still 5'9"/160lbs and felt that it would be almost impossible for me to progress up the scale with the 80kg version. Second, the metal grips on the 80kg and the 90kg versions are uncomfortable without tape; the plastic grips on this 70kg version are very comfortable as is - I will not be buying grip tape. Overall, a very high quality item which should last practically forever, and it's quite intimidating sitting in its stand (supplied with the gripper) on my office desk!
