I bought this in 2018 & it's still working well. No problems at all, as expected of Western Digital.

Not great for a shared device
I was hoping to have something that I could share easily with multiple devices across my home network. This device has to connect to one of the computers in the network, then you would have to share that device on the network. I'm sure if I had paid more attention when purchasing I would have noticed this.Having said that, connection to a single device is incredibly simple and plug and play. If that is your intention of this device you will have a 5-star opinion.
