Q: Do they stay on even after washing?

I just used these on a few of son's puffer jackets; looked great and secure. Washed them in cold water. Pulled out of machine and EVERY single one had come off! Junk!

Q: Will these work on ripped snowboard pants?

Not sure, but worked great on a tear on a sofa cushion.

Q: Can it used on mattress ?

From reading over the information about the product I would guess that it won't work on a mattress and is to be used for lighter repair on down jackets/coats or other clothing products.

Q: I want to use it to patch my canopy will this work
