Distorted Thread Flange Locknuts!
These are distorted thread flange nuts. That means they will behave like a locknut. They will start to thread easily from the flange side but then will become very difficult when you reach the distorted portion. Do not use with low strength bolts as the high strength threads might damage your bolt.

A winner.
I went to 3 hardware stores in search of these. All they had was a few nylock nuts, and not enough of them. Finding these on Amazon was great. Good product and delivered to my door, plus at a better price. That's hard to beat.

Good set of seven nuts for heavy duty
The seven Hex-nut fasteners appear to be of high quality. Used in an application where the nut will be subjected to being thumped.

No better than a common nylon insert lock nut.
Different nut same review. Easily removed with hand tools; no impact needed. Not a safe securing mechanism and can be defeated by the common thief.

High Quality Nuts
I'm building an airplane and unfortunately the kit didn't include enough of this size nut. I needed Grade 8 nuts and these fit the bill perfectly!

Ok if you like having to tap brand new nuts.
Have to tap every one of them.Spun on nicely for a couple of turn but then bound up.Some partial obstruction.Could feel a drag that couldn't be easily overcome but once it was the nut turned another 3/4 turn and dragged again.Had to use my 1/2-13 tap to knock out whatever the obstruction was on all of them.Next time I guess I run to ACE as it is "The Place".

These are off-spec
I read a previous review claiming these had to be re-tapped. When I read reviews like that, I figure maybe the customer just got a bad batch or something. Well these definitely need to be re-tapped. After tapping them I, question how well they can 'hold'. I did try to force a bolt onto one of the nuts. I think the bolt re-threaded the nut, however I was unable to get the nut off the bolt. Thus ruining a bolt and a nut. Just know you won't be able to force it to fit - they need to be re-tapped. Had I known how bad these were, I would have looked elsewhere.
