Q: Left in the package, do they have an expiration date?

Never freeze leftover casings salt them down with non-iodized salt sea salt or whatever most of the air out that you can and leave in refrigerator I've had some last 3 years

Q: How long do they have to soak?

I let mine soak about an hour in warm water but I change out the water several times during that process

Q: 45 lbs per tube, or total per package?

The whole package will do 45lbs. Bulk casings if you buy a hank will do a 100 lbs.

Q: Can i make my sausage and stuff the casings and freeze for later?

These casings are awesome. Worth the money, easy to work with and tasty. Do Not!! Freeze them. Simply put them in a zip lock back and sprinkle a good dose of kosher salt on them and refrigerate. I've used them 10 and 12 months later. Hope this helps and good luck
