I just received this glass desk cover and really love it. For years, I've used both an opaque desk cover and a clear plastic one and they inevitably get stained and look bad, so I've gone through several. Recently I even ordered a new plastic desk cover but it was so thin (as they all seem to be) and had a cellophane-like gloss look to it that I felt looked cheap so I returned it.I believe this glass desk cover is the answer. First, it looks fantastic. Second, it has rubber feet and doesn't slip in the least. Third, it cleans easily - I've already had a small mishap. Fourth, when compared to others online, the price is extremely reasonable. Fifth, it is thick, yet not too thick. Sixth, although I'm not using it for this purpose, the package states that you can even use it with dry markers. Finally, based on my experience from glass covers on our living room end tables, this will probably last forever and will look great all the while. I only wish I had switched to glass earlier!

I have an L-shaped executive desk with 3 monitors and like to sit facing directly at the corner so of course I cannot use either of the keyboard trays that are built into the desk. I purchased the glass desk mat to bridge the corner and give better stability under the keyboard. The glass was packaged very well, and the glass is nicer than I had anticipated. Very high quality and the edges are rounded so there is no sharpness to worry about cutting yourself. It has nice thickness that sits a quarter inch in height. The keyboard does not slide around like it did on the desktop alone. The built in feet keep the glass in place the wood top free from scratches. Great product!

Love this for my craft desk! It protects my desk surface. It is large enough to cover the working surface of the desk and strong enough to handle exacto blades, glues (including hot glue), acetone, fabric cutting wheel and anything I can throw at it. It also gives my work surface an organized look. I used to use craft cutting mats but kept having to replace them because they easily wore out.Glass is the perfect solution. My desk is preserved. Most solvents wipe right off. Glue and resin can be left to dry and easily peeled off later. I wish I had bought this glass mat years ago!

Beautiful, thick glass.

This is a nice item. It is the second one I have purchased. It shipped quickly and is well packaged and although $40 seems like a lot for a small piece of glass. I think it is competitive to using a glass shop.

The 20x36 version of this desk mat is nicely made, but it needs just a bit of support in the middle at the edges. I had to place 1-2 paper beer coasters underneath the middle near both long edges, as it bowed slightly when I leaned or pressed on it . This affords another 1-2 mm of support, preventing the bowing.I still recommend the unit, but you might want to consider adding some extra support where needed.The manufacturer should place a plastic feet at the center, similarly to what they place at the corners. This small addition would make it perfect!

This tempered glass desk mat it thick! It's beautiful. I ordered it for my craft table (will order one more now that I see the quality). I do a lot of painting and epoxy resin crafts so Im always cleaning silicone mats and it's a pain, let me tell you. I had a small glass mat that I tried and it was amazing but it's so small. So when i saw this--excited. Once I'm finished with my projects for the day, I organize my stuff, and the next morning I take a window scraper (which uses a standard razor blade) and I simply scrape off any dried paint, resin, glue etc. It scrapes right off with little effort and no scratches at all. Then I spray some rubbing alcohol onto the surface to remove any glitter, mica powder, etc. It's like brand new within a few minutes. The best ever.
