Q: I originallordered these in a size 11. Returned and ordered size 11 x-wide. The tag inside doesn't state x-wide so are they?

I had the same issue. It said for me on the box "work n cusion 4.0 4E". That 4E means extra wide in shoe sizes. However, they did not feel like extra wides at all.

Q: Is the Velcro strong enough, and does it last?

The velcro will outlast the shoe, which is over a year of daily wear. Tread wears down to the smooth surface, cracks appear in the leather, insoles replaced twice, and yet the velcro works like the first day. Are they strong? Yeah, you can sinch it down like you would with laces. I mostly leave the bottom strap alone but the top strap gets pulled at least 365 times. I'm quite sure I pull them double that number as going in and out of the house, taking breaks at work, I remove the top strap. I only wished I had that kind of velcro on my back brace and knee braces.

Q: I want white shoes. These state "cold gray and white." So are they gray primarily, or are they white?

Mine are all white. The bottom of the soles are gray. Nice shoes.
