I was not expecting this to be good quality at all, reading some of the reviews I was expecting to have to drill holes and buy extra hardware in order for it to work, but for such a great price I was willing to do a little extra work because it would still be worth it. HOWEVER, that was not the case at all, I was surprised to see how well made this Inkpress is. It came with all the parts, nothing missing, all holes are drilled perfectly. It's very well made and looks like it will last a long long time. It's an extremely good deal for the money, don't listen to anyone who says otherwise. I'm beginning to think the negative reviews are just competitors trying to bring the overall ratings down.Also, contrary to what a few others said, it was very easy to assemble. Sure, the instructions might be lacking a little, but anyone with half of a brain could put this thing together just looking at the picture alone.If you want a really great inkpress for cheap, and you have a brain, just buy it, you'll be happy.

I found the instructions to be very easy to follow. I know that’s a complaint for some. I was missing one bolt but had others that worked for what it was needed for. I will say the screen doesn’t lay perfectly flat like others have mentioned. I’m not sure why that is but no matter what I do the screen pulls up slightly.

For the value it is definitely worth it. It holds true but the springs are a bit too strong even let out all the way. All in all very good product

Very satisfied. Easy to assemble, used the tutorial on Amazon and it took no time to assemble. I did add an extender to the spring to make it stay down to platen. Very happy with my purchase, would recommend.

I read through all of the reviews thoroughly, and I thought I knew what to expect. I knew it was off balance and had to be bolted down, I knew the instructions were crap, and I knew mounting hardware quality was crap.What I didn't know was that the screen would absolutely not stay down by itself. Even with the springs at the absolutely lowest amount of tension, the arm will not rest on the platen. If you let go of it, it will spring back up like a catapult.I've now spent a week trying to figure out how to fix this and I am done. I will be returning this junk to Amazon and spending the extra $20 for one that isn't going to fling ink on my walls or whip a screen into my face.
