Saved me almost $400
My VW dealership (Onion Creek VW in Austin) wanted $300 for the part, and to charge 1 hour of labor to put this on a 1999 VW Passat 1.8T. Considering this was ~$11, and takes all of 30 seconds to install, it was a no brainer. It's sitting in the easiest to get to spot in the world. 2 bolts is all that's holding it on. Just be sure to put a little dielectric grease on the back of the new one before installing it back on. The clips on the 1999 still worked like a charm...literally, easiest install ever.

awesome
An excellent replacement for the igniter sent with FAB9's COP kit for a mazda miata (they fail often and are $70 from FAB9). This worked great and is plug and play.

Fast shipping
Im mostly ecstatic about the shipping time, super fast shipping and even expected delivery on a sunday which was huge for me considering i need this vehicle fixed before work monday morning. Im sure the part will do its job as expected but the delivery date sealed the deal for the purchase. Thank you so much.

Much better than expected.
Works perfect on my 1997 audi a8 quattro with the 4.2, no complaints at all. Better than the 200 dollars it would have cost at the dealership. Just for peace of mind I added a layer of clear silicone around the edges to make sure it stays sealed because my car has them located next to the washer fluid filler neck.

The ignition control module is a common failure on older Audi's and VW's. In my case, it failed on my '99 A4 which causes a CEL that reports random misfires. 5-minutes to swap the part and no more check engine lights. I have had the new part installed for several weeks and have not had any problems since.
