I don’t ever write reviews but I am so disappointed by this purchase. I had bought the previous version of this flat iron for $130 and it was amazing but my cousin broke it. My hair was so straight/smooth/shiny. This new flat iron did not do its job. My fingers would get stuck in my hair which has never happened for the last 3 years, and the hair started to get messy as soon as I got out of the house. Mind you, the heat was at 450. I saw the reviews but I did not take them into consideration because I thought it depends on the hair, IT DOES NOT!! My hair is straight even without me using a flat iron so I can only imagine what it does if the hair is curly. If I’m paying $200 for a flat iron at least make it worth it. I am so sad that I have to change brand.

This is the best hair straightener I have ever used in my life. It leaves my hair feeling soft and shiny. I also can say that it straightens the hair in a way that it doesn't straighten in chunks. Some will understand what that means.

I live in the south and the humidity causes my hair to be frizzy constantly! This iron has been the best one yet. I’ve used SEVERAL brands over the years as I have wavy frizzy hair and this one has been the best!

This flat iron is pricey but worth it. Quality made. Easy to use and as good for your hair as a flat iron can be.

This is the lowest quality iron produced by them in a very long time. It broke on me on the hinge section a little after a year. The warranty had expired it is unfortunate. The heating mechanism plates floating springs to evenly distribute heat were the lowest quality of any irons in a very long time. I have purchased over five irons from them and unfortunately over time their quality has gone down. Previously they had digital irons available I still have one of those it does still work and is a wonderful iron. Unfortunately this particular model is of low quality and I would skip it and wait for the next generation iron to come out.
