this item is ok! not quite the same as fresh lemon zest--but it does save accidentally damaging your hand zesting a fresh lemon. Also the price is ok in my opinion.

Maybe I'm used to using the real thing, but bought this as backup as not always convenient to hop out to get lemons. I'm a little disappointed TBH, very little lemon flavour or smell except a rather bitter taste, and this isn't lemon zest at all, total misrepresentation - it's lemon zest powder. I'm furious as I bought a lot of it! Does not substitute for real lemons, but maybe I was asking too much?

Needed this for my baking and was nice

So many times I’ve needed zest but haven’t had an actual Lemon. This is a fab standby must for the cupboard.

Using this saves using a grater & so much less mess.

I used half a sachet instead of the zest of 1 lemon if that helps with your recipes ! It worked brilliantly and I thought I’d be able to tell but I couldn’t and more importantly neither could the children!
