I’m 6ft and also a thin build (woman). I bought a small and it fits perfect. Close to ground, but doesn’t touch the ground.

My son is 6"1', xl shirt and he has the xl cape. It was perfect. Didn't go to his feet so he'd trip or step on it. I'd say purchase your shirt size.

That might be a little long, but probably the right width. I'm the same height, more or less average build, I ordered a Large, and it barely fit across my shoulders.
