Disappointing
I'm always hesitant to post a very negative response, but in this case it is a must. This so-called vet kit is junk. The pieces are small and certainly not age appropriate. Several of the parts broke within minutes of opening. Everything is so small, it isn't suitable to play with. Junk. Junk. We are so disappointed and frustrated with our purchase. We strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND this product.

Very flimsy, lasted only a weekend and the box doesn't open or close properly!
This review is for TAKIHON Play Vet Kit for Kids after a month of use.The good- Honestly the novelty of a new toy is the only good.The bad- It literally lasted one weekend. It is made very poorly.- Box doesn’t close easily and doesn’t open easily once closed. Very flimsy as well.Overall, a terribly flimsy toy, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Super cute vet set
Great set for a child into animal health care. This is wonderful for little ones to use their imagination and make their stuffed animals all better.This can be worn as a backpack and when you open it their is several items including a syringe, stethoscope, thermometer, otoscope, scissors, tweezers, eyeglasses, baby bottle, and a stuffed puppy.The vet kit is made of sturdy, easy-to-clean and environmentally friendly ABS plastic. I love that there is no sharp edges and are safe for children.Easy to open and close. I would say ages 3-7 would be about right.

Great concept
The concept for a toy Veterinary medical kit is simply terrific. This little set comes complete with pretend versions of many common medical instruments and tools, as well as several items a pet groomer would use. Keeping everything together in the little medical backpack is very clever, too. Aside from the concept, the next best feature about this toy is the included toy dog. The little brown dog is soft, fairly realistic and quite adorable. Kids will love the dog! What’s not hot about this kit is the overall quality. The backpack is a rigid plastic, but after use and abuse from kids, it is questionable if it will hold up for very long. Most of the instruments and the white tray are made from a thin plastic, so they probably won’t likely won’t last too long either. On the plus side, this toy set is listed at an attractive price point (just above $20). The advertised age range for this set includes toddlers, but given several small parts and the thinness of the plastic, purchasing the kit for a toddler is probably not a wise idea. Kids about 4-5 years of age would likely receive the most enjoyment from this toy.

This is a great toy for teaching love and empathy.
This is adorable ! I was really concerned about the quality and the hilarious spelling of the poo .however it appears the mistake has been corrected! My son is 3 non verbal autism and we were able to use each piece appropriately and with empathy . I think this will help. The quality is also what I expected from any of his other toys ! We loved this
