It's a USB cable. It works just fine as a USB cable.
I'm using this for programming a Raspberry Pi Pico W from a MacBook M1. It's nice to not have feet of cable looping over the desk when I'm working from my tiny laptop.So far, it has survived a hundred or so insertions without a problem; I leave the microusb attached to the Pico and pull the USB-C side when possible.

Owned about a week, but feels tough and so far it’s done it’s job. Only time will tell.
I like how it feels sturdy and kind of tough. I’ve only used it a couple times. Originally I wanted to use it for my android tablet to connect to my MacBook, but it’s an old android with a very slow cpu and it glitches really bad. However, the cable did its job for me. Although, I wish for my purpose it were about an inch longer. If I had a bigger tablet(mines only 7in or so) it would’ve never worked for my needs. All in all it is a decent cable for a fair price.

It worked
I worked to swap over the apps and data from my old phone to my new phone. I'll probably never use it again, but for the price it is fine.

Not working as a data cable
The one I received does not work as a data cable....only charge. Tried it on my Galaxy S10 and Macbook and it's not working as a data cable.
