American Sound Connection Universal Fit Single 10" Subwoofer Sealed Replacement Spare Tire Custom Sub Box

This box sounds great and fits fairly well in the tire well of my 2004 Ford Escape.It is about an inch taller so I need to create a standoff for the cover but that isn't a big deal.Other than that, the center of my tire well where the bolt drives down, is not exactly underneath the intended opening in this box and sits directly between the cubby area and the sound box portions of this unit. That means I have to find an alternative way to strap it down, yet to be fair it sounds very good with just the weight of this box alone keeping in held down.Because people should not mount their amplifier directly to their sub box, it would be nice if they offered a similar option that is about 1 -1 1/2 inch shorter with the same air sq/ft ratio and a smaller cubby to offset the difference. I am currently using the cubby for tools and parts which is helpful yet not ideal.I give 5 stars because it's the only pre-built model like this that I can find that fits both my vehicle and my budget.

I like the idea and really wanted it but unfortunately it did not fit in the spare tire well not only was it to big for the hole but it was also too tall. My only option is to make my own that's custom to my spare tire well.

Nice, sturdy box. Fit perfectly in my 370z. My 10” Kenwood sub sounds great in this box. Would definitely purchase again.

I have a 2012 Hyundai Sonata it fit good, the box is pretty solid. I did have to cut a bit to make it sit flat. that is why I only gave 4 stars, but it should be 4.7.Please do the math, figure out the Volume space of your sub vs this box. I did not do that with my the sub, I had to order an other Sub.If you do this is a good sounding box

This fit my subwoofer box needs perfectly. I DID have to add some feet to it to make it rise up but that's because my vehicle has a hump where the spare was. After adding the feet it sits perfectly. It does rise up above the lip of the spare tire area but mine is also shallow to begin with.

Did not fit the wheel well of my Infiniti Q50. Awesome build quality though
