Better Signal Then The Stock Antenna!
Better Gain & Signal Than the stock Antenna. Even just tuning to an FM Station I was able to quickly tell the difference. Great price through Amazon & Radioditty, Shipped quickly & a nice follow up email through secure email to make sure Yur happy with your purchase. I have bought other equipment from Radioditty & I am very happy with their service & I trust they will be there if I need them!

My fault I bought the antenna with the wrong sma connector. Be careful.

I will not say it is as good as a longer antenna but it works great for the shorter more convenient length.
At 8" in length, this antenna is convenient and effective. I will not say it is as good as a longer, 17" antenna but then again, I will more readily carry my radio with the shorter whip so there are points good and bad. I like the shorter antennas when working strong local repeaters where I don't need the longer antenna.

While possibly a decent antenna, it does NOT fit the Baofeng GT-5TP like advertised. It would require altering the radio antenna area or the antenna base. Neither of which I am willing to do for an antenna advertised to fit.

A great option for the uv-82 baofeng
Initial thoughts was the packaging looked a bit sketchy. You never know what quality your getting when its still in its original packaging from china. With all the fake nangoya's being pumped out,you never know what you are getting.After installing the antenna i found reception to be a nice boost on my uv82 in comparison to the stock "ducky" antenna. Also a nice boost to my transmitted signals. Local Repeaters say I came in loud and clear. This antenna proves to be a great build and also a great option when you dont want to rock the extended whip for everyday use.Minus one star for it not being a absolute perfect fitwhen screwed in. It sits at the slightest of angles so the screw pattern is off. Quality control is prob not looking at these with a microscope. Just nit picking at this point lolA great cheaper option when wanting to upgrade your stock gear.

good antennas!!
These are good - perfect size and reception is better than stock baofeng gt 3 ones. More durable too - not as flimsy.One note - may need to trim base plastic for a proper fit, but not a big deal 👍👍👍👍👍
