A worthy purchase
What do we expect from Rammstein? Those chugging guitars and Till at full pelt right? On this latest offering you only get a couple of such tracks. Still this is Rammstein and they know how to make music that is unmistakably them. Till's voice is better than ever. This CD is nowhere near as good as their opus Mutter but then nothing is. So why 5 stars? Because it is Rammstein and they would have to significantly lower their standards to warrant a star off. It is remarkable to think that this band can sell out stadiums around the world where nearly all of the audience cannot understand a word of the lyrics. Yes there is the pyro but other bands have caught up. It is the quality of this bands output. There seems to be a strong hint that this is the bands farewell album. Let's hope not. If your reading this lads go back to the studio and up the tempo.

love, Love, LOVE this album
Quality from beginning to end - Rammstein's creativity continues to deliver. From the hilarious 'Dicke Titten' and 'Zick Zack' to the beautiful tracks 'Zeit' 'Schwarz' and 'Meine Tränen' (the latter of which makes me well up - particularly at the end) and the awesome 'Angst', ''Giftig', 'Armee Der Tristen' and 'Lügen', this album has it all! Including the farewell song 'Adieu', which hopefully isn't what it originally appeared to be (a real farewell! Nooo!)Well worth the wait for this - and hoping that the band will tour it next year :) At least we'll get to hear a couple of tracks on this year's tour, to keep us going!"Reih dich ein in unsere bande"

Over priced and just "okay"
Here we are again. A new album from Rammstein, one of my favourite European bands. Unlike a lot of the fan base, I do not have a biased opinion and find that this album has a lot of flaws about it. Considering the asking price, I'm a bit underwhelmed. I paid £14 instead of the £20 standard price and even then, I still feel a little disappointed. The packaging isn't anything special, the music is more of the same and the pacing feels a bit off.For example, the album kicks off with Armee Der Tristen which is a good rocking industrial tune. But then we're treated to Zeit and Schwarz which are good songs but two ballads, one after the other, two songs into the album. Really?!! They could have very easily have spread these two songs out further in the album to separate the heavier songs and stop them from feeling too repetitive. But nope, they did not. It's a shame as it just murders the moment built by the opening track. You see, the heavier songs are good. Fans will enjoy the likes of Dicke Titten, Giftig, OK etc. They all feel like they've taken from the Senhsucht period of the band's career. But when you bundle them all together, it's evident at how similar they are. The marching beat, the chugging guitars and Till's trademark growl. We've heard it all before and it's things we like about Rammstein. However, twenty seven straight minutes of it is too much. This is where you put one of the ballads in the middle to split it up after two or three songs. Track order is something everyone constructing an album should always be aware of.The album as a whole is alright. Despite my complaints, it could be considerably worse. The songs are enjoyable enough but not up to the standard of the self titled Rammstein album. The actual sound quality is particularly good. I cranked the sucker up and it was very satisfying. The drums come out strong and clean, the guitars have a fantastic tone and the timber in Till's voice is as strong as ever. It's a fine improvement on it's predecessor in that regard. Again, just a shame about the track order.Would I recommend this album? Sure I would. Rammstein fans will enjoy it for what it is. But I would NOT recommend it at this horrendous high price. I over paid at £14 and the current £20 price is way way way too much. Wait for this sucker to go down to a tenner and you'll do good.

Excellent album
Been a Rammstein fan for a good few years now. I wasn't sure about this album at first listen, quite slow and slightly different from previous albums in my opinion but after a few listens I was hooked and the more you listen the better it gets. This Is now my favourite Rammstein album which has surprised me after my thoughts on first listen. Slow burner for some but maybe others will click instantly. Stick with it,you'll be pleasantly surprised.
