Green Olive Firewood Company Smoking Woods (1 Plank, Whiskey Oak)

I used to use oak planks but decided to give these a try. I have a small steel tray and placed a handful of wood chips on and once they started to smoke I added the meat and fish on the grill, then closed the lid and the magic happed.. Awesome flavour.

Very impressed with ignition time and durability - will only buy this product in future - just a tad expensive???

I have used these before you get a sweet smoky flavour for the chucks. Only thing I think slightly bigger chunks would be better.

Item is good, bigger chunks than you would expect, some flavour but not as strong as cheery or well names whiskey chips

I didn't really get any smokiness from these

I've used this in my Kamado for smoking chicken, pork and beef, and aubergines. For all of these, these are my favourite chips

Fast delivery

This is decent quality smoking wood. The description states sizes between 4cm and 10cm but all of the chunks in the bag I received are 4cm, which isn’t ideal for long smokes. A little expensive when bought here but I knew that prior to purchase.All in all I’m fairly happy with them
