This is a nice, big dry erase board. It is a solid piece of glass with a sturdy metal base so that it is freestanding. While it would be great for making notes throughout the day, I got it to be an evolving vision and goal board that sits right in my eye line. This would also make a cool partition in a shared workspace.

The #INNOVART freestanding glass desktop whiteboard is a great size placed on the back of my desk. It stands solidly and doesn't move when being written on. Erasing does occasionally require me to hold the top when putting pressure on the eraser to remove the stubborn writing. The reason for the one ding is that while it is magnetic, you need a strong magnet to make things stay. Even the included eraser falls off easily. The whiteboard is double-sided but in my placement, that doesn't really matter. The whiteboard is a high quality unit and the fit and finish are great. No sharp edges on the aluminum base. A really nice product.

I ordered this specifically for my 6 year old who is in kindergarten. He has hit the ground running with his education, and they send homework home every night. In addition to regular classroom subject, my son is in his 2nd official year of learning Mandarin. This second year, the emphasis is entirely on learning words, characters (mainly family names and nouns), and now that we on the 2nd half of the school year, some simple 2 and 3 word phrase, verbs, and nursery rhymes. In addition to learning the words, the kids have to learn the characters as well. Hes also learning to write his letters and such more legibly now that hes in kindergarten, so manual dexterity and legible writing is doubly important. he does have a laminated, ruled page to help him learn his English letters, but I thought an actual whiteboard was more efficient and appropriate for learning Mandarin characters. He now has a larger surface area to practice his characters SEVERAL times, I can write alongside him, etc. This whiteboard has been a very useful tool for us in that regard, and since we've used it for Mandarin, we've started using it for math as well.The whiteboard is very easy to set up and comes in two pieces, the whiteboard literally just slides into the bottom base. I am thrilled that it wouldn't require any tools at all. I overlooked the fact that it could be used as a partition. It is double sided, magnetic, and made from durable material made to last. This isn't a $15 white board that attaches to your fridge. The price is a bit steep, but its now a useful study aid for all of the children in my house. If you are willing to spend the asking price, you wont be disappointed. If purchasing for an office, a dorm or some other shared working space, it would also be a great place to utilize the whiteboards function and created partition.

Woh! When this arrived, I wasn't sure what it was, it was so heavy! I'm pretty impressed by this whiteboard. It is a glossy glass on both sides. The base is sturdy, and it arrives with markers, magnets and an eraser. Writing on it is effortless and it erases nicely. You can use a spray cleaner with no worry it will damage the board. I'm not certain where to use it best though, it might be too heavy for a wall and takes up as much space on a desk as a 27' monitor. However, on a wall shelf might be perfect. Or, if you are in a restaurant and want to list the daily specials, something of that sort, this would be of great use.

For years I've been buying whiteboards, only to throw them out after a year because the marker no longer erases. I've always assumed that I was doing something wrong: I wasn't cleaning them properly, or I was using the wrong markers, or I had to buy a special kind of cleaner.It turns out that whiteboards made of melamine or polypropylene are just plain awful. Unless you thoroughly clean them after every use, it's common for market residue to accumulate and eventually "set". And of course, when you overclean whiteboards laminated with film they'll eventually wear down the surface coating. You can't win.Glass whiteboards have usually been only for places that can afford them like high-end offices and design studios. It's nice to see that they've managed to make this one relatively affordable. Even though it costs a little more, you'll find that it'll last you for years look brand new even years down the line.The thing I was probably most impressed at was how it was packed. From what I can see, this thing survived a trip from China to Washington to me on the East Coast on the US without a scratch, thanks to some really good use of styrofoam and foam packing. I've had several glass items arrive at my door shattered recently, but they did a nice job with this one.I do have to dock them a star because they did promise a magnetic surface, but even my strongest magnets won't stick to it. They even included a bonus pack of magnetic letters, but none of those stuck either. They did include two super-strong magnets which did stick, but those were the only ones that did.I would have been nice for them to include mounting brackets for a wall, but I can see why they wouldn't want to encourage you to hang this giving its sheer weight. The stand they include is solid and secure, and it does let you access both side of the board, which is a good thing.Overall, a nice solution to a perennial problem.

This freestanding glass desktop magnetic dry erase board works good as a privacy partition as well. I like the glass because it’s smooth and easy to write on and easy to wipe off. This is very easy to set up. Just put the glass up right in the slot. It couldn’t be a little hard to write on it that way, but you can also remove it write on it and then put it in place. You can use both sides to write on and they are both magnetic. The tray is a nice feature also to set your markers on.

This beats the pants off my cheap walmart whiteboard! Even the cheap markers erase beautifully! Docked a star because the magnets don't stick at all. They do on my fridge and dishwasher though lol. The glass board is frosted and fits snugly in the included stand.
