Emmy Lou Loves It!
Our Red Lored Amazon Emmy Lou is in her 50s and is in excellent health for her age. Her daily diet of about 40 years consists of Harrison's High Potency Course kibble and Treat along with the bird bread that we bake. The Bird Bread is the first thing she goes after in the morning. She also gets fruit, veggies and sometimes nibbles off our plates. Harrison's Bird diet was invented the guy who wrote the avian surgical manuals that vets study in school. Best bird food if you really want your bird to be healthy and happy.

Great supplement for my 42 year old parrot.
I had to find a bread substitute for my senior yellow nape parrot who loves bread and pasta. This does the trick, especially if warm. I put his meds in it too. Use a mini, mini silicon baking or ice cube tray to make fresh sized morsels. Defrost one piece at a time to keep fresh. Cut into small parts to supplement their meals!

Harrison’s is quality product
Harrison’s is always good quality nutrition. My birds did not go for this bread. Sometimes it takes a little time for them to realize it’s food.

Harrison’s Burd Bread Original.
Recommended by the aviarian vet. My Cockatiel loves it. You need to bake it with Palm Fruit Oil, eggs and water. Very easy to do and nice to see bird enjoying eating it.

Birds Love it Now
Took a while to get me cockatiels to accept this food. I mixed with seed for a few weeks but the breakthrough for us came after buying a bag of the birdie bread and getting them to eat that. Then they accepted the pellets much faster. I keep the bag in the fridge after opening and with 3 cockatiels it lasts a few months. It’s expensive but I feel better knowing my tiels are getting a variety of different foods to more likely cover the bases of their nutritional needs - pellets, seeds and dehydrated fruits and veggies (they are super picky and absolutely hate any wet or fresh produce so pellets and dehydrated veggies work for us).

My Parrots Love 'Birdie Bread'!
My parrots are both over 15 years old. One Yellow Naped Amazon and one Severe Macaw. They are on special diets that are both vet approved, and weighed and timed diligently. Every day for years they get what we call Birdie Bread. They receive it every other day. Both parrots know exactly what I say when I tell them it is time. As I prepare it, they sing. While the amount they get is carefully weighed, it always makes their afternoons seem quite special. I enjoy watching them as they see it coming and as they devour the small chunks cut from the baked Harrison's Bread. They seem to enjoy watching me get happy too!

Company not reliable
Harrison sent wrong food - company would not correct their mistake and basically said not their problem. Amazon was very helpful.
