Great rod in its price bracket.

Good not perfect.
My third tica, good value for the money. Love the new guides. I use the rod for throwing light soft plastics for stripers the rod is stiff, probably better for throwing heavier plugs. The butt of the rod has rope not cork. Takes a bit to get used to . Overall I like my tica dolphin better. I have the 8' spinning version of both rods. Can't wait to try in on some bigger stripers. So far nothing over 30 inches. I guess time will tell.

Awesome for stipers! Truly made with quality! My favorite colors red/blk/silver! Sturdy and super lightweight! Great for casting/plugging! Only one thing, bottom part is designed with rope wrap and will probably be harder to keep clean and would take more than just a water rinse, unless you get it shrink wrapped.Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the first eye of the pole is a little off alignment from the rest.Otherwise, it would've been absolutely perfect!

Great rod but not durable.
Casts great with a Daiwa BG5000 on it, but rod cracked after one month of light usage right where the tip and base come together.

It's a piece of junk for the money
Rod top came apart on every cast then it was stuck could not separate it and then the pole snapped in half when I tried

seems like a decent rod
I never got to actually use this, as my 2 piece rod arrived in 3 pieces, but I looked like a decently put together rod for the money
