THE PRODUCT CLAMPED SECURELY TO A DINING TABLE AND HELD A PAIR OF BRASS DOOR HANDLES FORTY SIX YEARS OLD ,WHILST I FITTED NEW SPRINGS. THIS HAS ENABLED ME TO SAVE APPROXIMATELY £ 10 OVER NEW HANDLES. I'VE PUT THE VICE AWAY FOR FUTURE USE, AN EXCELLENT PIECE OF KIT !

The product is a little small but good for what I need it for

I am asked to mention suction power but of course this is a bolt on tool so I gave five stars for that instead. Currently I am working on my dining table until my workshop is complete. It's easy to place a small piece of cardboard where the clamp has contact with the wood to prevent any scratches occurring. Once in place it is very sturdy and holds items in place well. I am really happy with my purchase. I envisage this will be used often on a daily basis and confident about its longevity. A well worth purchase. Highly recommended. 5 stars all round from ordering to full functional use. Delighted. Thanks.

as soon as I tightened the screw the bottom of the clamp snapped. I don't think it is even metal, it snapped like plastic. Definitely not suitable for use, if it can't stand the pressure of being screwed onto the table I don't know how it would hold pieces whilst I work on them. Don't waste your money

This well made and secure vice, stayed firm while I was both nailing and sawing. It was suggested as jewelery making tool but has been very useful for my doll house furniture making hobby.
