I am neither a Mason nor a Concrete finisher. But, I really like this Marshall Brick Hammer
I bought this brick hammer to fix the curb in front of our driveway and house. I purchased this Marshall Brick Hammer to clean out all of the loose and cracked concrete at the curb across 110 feet in front of our house. The 14 holes (large) and major cracks required a very sturdy tool (and an entire 40 lb bag of concrete). The Marshall Brick Hammer is a well-made and designed tool. For the price and quality - you can't beat it. Highly recommend.FYI, after the work was done, the Marshall Brick Hammer still looks brand new.

It's a masonry hammer. It hasn't broken yet. I wish the handle was 2" longer...but it's a block hammer.

I love hammers! This one....just ok. This is my first mason hammer, so I'm not an expert there. The balance seems off and the grip on the handle isnt fabulously ergonomical.The feel of the swing is off. However, when I choke up on the handle, I can get an accurate hit. I also wish the chiselled edge was sharper.Last note: I reclaimed about 100 sq ft of red brick and needed to chip off the mortar. After only 10 bricks, the head started to wobble on the handle. If I still have time, im going to return it. If not, ill need to shim a nail in it.
