Great for thick hair
Works great on long thick hair. Mine is really frizzy and gets knotted easily. It’s much less painful than a standard brush or comb.

Takes a long time to detangle very thick hair
Pros:Curly hair has good definitionCons:Quite slippery to hold when brushing on leave in conditionerThe brush isn't as good for detangling as others I've tried. If the section of hair is too big, it can just skip over the knots instead of properly brushing them out. The brush has a lot of drag, so one needs to use small sections. This is what makes the curls bounce up, but also requires you to have a lot of time on your hands or a lot of patience. I have very thick long hair that ends just below my shoulder blades. Takes me 30 minutes just to detangle, which is twice as long with some other brushes I've tried.I'll probably go back to a brush that will detangle more quickly, but may keep this one to define hair once it's been detangled.
