Personally, the sticky taped seam good but this is the second time I bought this type of hood scoop and put it on a vehicle. I learned that slapping some J-B weld on there was the number one way to guarantee it would not go anywhere. Also unless the surface is completely flat it doesn't like to stick. (I used type 2 silicone the fill in the gaps) Currently I have two on my '97 Danger Ranger, the one on the driver side is purely aesthetic, however the one on my passenger side is covering a hole I Dremel'd through the quarter panel to allow a true cold air intake, Sh!tbox Ed. style👌. When I had this on my V8 Jeep you could feel the air actually pull through the Demel'd hole in the hood.

I bought two and they sent one that was used. I sent it back and they sent a new one. These appear smaller in person and kinda dark navy bluish rather than straight black.

It may just have been that I didn't pay close enough attention to the ad before purchasing but scoop was way too small, fit my kids power wheels car pretty good though
