This ring is gorgeous, full stop. The photo doesn't pick up the richness of the deep red stone, the intricate detailing down the side, or even the overall sleekness of the design of the body of the ring. When I ordered it I thought I was just picking up a nice large ring I could wear on days when I wanted a pop of color and silver but didn't want to wear something fussy with detail that could catch on clothing, furniture, or the occasional passing cat (which, in my house, is a hazard, and I'd prefer to steer clear of the revenge of murder mittens when at all possible, especially if it's because of an accidental ring snag). What I got was a ring that I seriously want to wear all the time. It has become my new favorite. You won't regret this purchase.
