Driver updates and Drivers problems
I have spent a long time to try to update to the latest drivers from AMD website. The problem with this card is that you can up date the drivers from Gigabyte website, but these are drivers from 2022. They will not run on F1 and Destiny 2 and other new games. I also enjoy playing Shadow of the Tomb Raider. However the old drivers from 2022 from Gigabyte own website work only on the older games. Gigabyte have not updated any new drivers on the website since 2022. Their support department is useless and did not even answer my questions They took 4 days to respond to my emails and when they did it was to say please use the drivers from our website. AMD web site has the latest Feb 2024 drivers, they work on the games but on Tomb Raider, they just crash or black screen. I spent 5 days trying to make things work, watching and following diffent avenues. Removing all old drivers using DDU from AMD and then reinstalling new drivers. The card would work for a few minutes and then the same problems. The problem is Gigabyte and their support. This card was perfect for my mini case it's the smallest size tri fan card with good RGB. Just to help others the system has i5 12600K, Asus B760-I wifi MOB, Samsung T1B 990 PRO and 2TB Western Digital 850X all gen 4, with Corsair DDR 5 32B 6400 MHz. and a 750W ROG Loki 750W power supply. I will be returning this card back and will never purchase a Gigabyte card, due to poor service and customer support. I have installed a New Asus RX 7800xt into the system, its an amazing card, and worked with no problems and latest drivers from AMD Aderline. I have to praise Amazon support, they were fantastic, they understood my concerns about the card and the lengths that I have been to try to see if I could make it work. The problem is the card, when I searched online, a lot of others have had similar issues with RX 6750xt cards and software. I have used MSI AMD cards no problems. I am happy enjoying playing my games on the new Asus RX7800xt, working fine so far and very pleased with the performance. I will update if I find any other information. I hope this has been of use to others who read this review. My card Gigabyte 6750 XT was from Amazon warehouse.
