In an utter lack of impulse control, I bought these Canadian version of Cheese Puffs based off a random YouTube video mention. (Or "Cheesy Poofs" if you watch South Park.) At the near insane price of $32 (as of 2025). I only had a mild affinity for the American version. Even in my idealized youth nostalgia those tasted like baked styrofoam packing peanuts coated in powdered cheese and salt. God knows what they taste like now. Probably soy based cheese powder over rehydrated, nitrogen filled cricket carcasses with added gluten.But Hawkins Cheezies taste like how Cheese Puffs were meant to taste like. Yes, it's still a cheese powder and salt covered snack. The bad news is they're just a tad too salty for me. The good news is they're just a tad too salty for me to binge on and devour all at once! More importantly, the underlying food actually taste like they made a serious effort at an actual food product. It's crunchy and wholesome. $32 is still a little crazy. That said, they ship 3 big bags each with 3 smaller bags each fit for a very robust individual serving. I'm definitely sneaking this in to movie theaters when I don't want to buy $12 popcorn. That may be how I justify buying more in the future.

We used to get these in Canada when my husband drove truck back and forth, but since he has been in the state working we felt a bit deprived of our cheezies! I was so happy to find them on Amazon! These things don’t taste like Cheetos, they are so much better! They taste almost more like real food (yes they are still a junk food, but of a higher quality).

Sorry Cheetos!! These cheesy crunchy goodness bites are the new crack for cheesey snack lovers !!! So addicting!! Lighter and cheesier than any other brand !!!!

This is not 840g, this is three (3) bags OF three bags (3 x 140g each) which is 9 x 140 = 1260.1.26 Kilograms. 2 Lbs 12 Oz.86.4cents/oz.Very worth. Much flavor.

I love these!! So crunchy and cheesy.

I was so excited for these crunchies to come in immediately upon opening a bag when they arrived I realized the bag was stale open the next bag stale I’m very disappointed.
