Definitely Helped Preserve Hair!
Just a little background – I was a double processed blonde for years, you know that sort of permanently brassy bright buttery blonde? Anyhow about four months or more ago I decided I wanted to grow out my base color and be a more dimensional blonde. My hair was pretty fried, bad texture, permanently kind of fuzzy and swollen looking strands. I kind of like that natural balyage/ombré look, but not so severe. My hair naturally lightens with the sun so I’ve been keeping the ends as bright as possible. Anyhow, I started just doing subtle baby highlights on the crown of my head with 10 volume bleach ( I have extremely fine fragile hair, just a lot of it) and in between the foils I would paint demi-permanent color around a level eight. To blend my regrowth a bit. It wasn’t perfect, but working well. (And it’s still not where I want it to be, but closer!) by the way, the underneath portion of my hair that rarely sees the sun is probably like a level five to a level six, but the top of my head is a level seven- my hair lightened pretty easily in the sunshine.Anyhow, before I tried this bond angel product- I did a bunch of things to prepare my hair for coloring and just strengthen it in general because it really looks like complete crap a couple months ago, so I think these things helped as well.- I drastically reduced the amount of coloring I put my hair through for a couple months only touching up the crown, only using demi color and 10 volume for highlights.- I started using k-pak reconstructor about once a week.-I bought a new blow dryer that dried my hair faster with better technology, - I bought a great big six-inch round brush so I didn’t have to struggle straightening my hair for an hour every day, which reduced the amount of heat I put on it. I forgot to mention, I have super curly hair naturally, like Mariah Carey in the 90s.- I also bought Olaplex 3 and used it a few times before doing this treatment – that stuffs amazing! So today I decided to highlight my entire head… Since the underneath portion of my hair was virginal at this point, I had already cut off all the double processed blonde parts. Although the top of my head still had some of the leftover double processed blonde and was more damaged than underneath. I used this as the directions stated with 10 volume bleach for 3/4 of my head, 20 volume directly on the crown, since I got to that part last… I let it process a long time, because 10 volume takes a while… I think also because I was doing larger chunks of blonde underneath it took a long time to process, maybe an hour with little to no heat. The top processed for a shorter amount of time and I painted between the foils with a level 8 to help blend my base. I also pulled the bleach through to the ends, which I have not done for months, because my hair normally will break when I do that – but my ends were looking pretty dingy. Anyhow, I noticed very little shedding when I was rinsing, my hair looks just about the same healthiness as before I colored it. Which is awesome! There’s very little breakage, just a little bit around my hairline, but I already had that to begin with. I actually think I would’ve done even brighter chunkier blonde through the crown had I known that this would protect my hair is much as it did. Next time I’ll go all out! I think this is a very helpful product. And contrary to what some reviews have said it’ll last a while because you don’t use that much of it in the bleach mixture. Also I went to their website and got the instructions on how to use it with color – they also have instructions on how to mix it in with Keratin treatments and other things like that. If you do your own hair, and struggle with breakage… I really think this product helps. Usually my hair feels like a stretchy sponge after I bleach it as much as I did today. It feels normal- just a bit flyaways, but I had that before. I give this five stars, because I think it delivers on its promise – just don’t expect miracles. Btw, I have really bad flyaway hairs because I’ve been taking supplements that Have been accelerating my hair growth and/or thickening my hair and I have tons of baby hair sticking up all over the place – not breakage. :)

I love Bond and Olaplex and will continue this threesome!
I did my research through Amazon and Youtube. I am using Olaplex and Bond Angel. They are both great products and insurance for your hair and a must if you add chemicals to your hair. I am a natural 4 b/c African American with salt and pepper, mostly gray and silver. I didn't want to color my hair a dark color, To me salt and pepper on a man is sexy but on a woman, not to much. I am 64 and I wanted a way to embrace my white and silver hair, which meant bleaching my hair to the highest level-to the color of a banana peel, toning it and then using a silver/gray platinum semi-dye. From January to April, I bleached my hair three times and did a bleach batch and alternated between Olaplex and Bond Angel, and also included deep treatments, balanced protein and moisturizers, and different oils such as coconut, jojoba, caster oil. My hair is now very white (I feel). -- no brass- just the color of the inside of a banana peel. I am hoping the gray will adhere to my hair. During those three and half months I just loved on my hair. I haven't lost not one strand of hair due to the chemicals. In fact my hair has grown. It is soft to touch and to look at. In a week, I will go to my stylist for a cut and style. (If I could do it, I would) .I will post a picture of my hair.Deciding between the two - is pretty difficult, my hair felt stronger with both, however, I must admit my hair was softer with Bond. For me its like deciding between my two favorite dream cars, BMW or Benz. I guess I will continue using both--because I can't do without my two

Better than Olaplex
This treatment kit is the real deal. I have been trying for years to get my hair to a white-ish blonde(I’ve had it done professionally and did DIY since I went to cosmetology school about 10 years ago), but we could never get it to the icy blonde I wanted without damage. I have tried Olaplex several times, and as good as that product is for a lot of people’s hair, it just doesn’t do much for mine. It was getting expensive, so I decided to try Bond Angel and it was seriously like a dang miracle for my hair. I was able to safely get to the icy white blonde level that I have been desiring for years without any damage. My hair actually felt like it was in better condition after bleaching and using the treatment than it was before. I was super happy with my results and I plan to use it again in the future! This is a really great product, especially for the price.

Doesn’t work miracles but does work
I bought this along with step 3 back in Christmas of 2020 and have gotten a few uses out of it. My hair has been double processed all over multiple times and my priority was to find a stand alone reconstruction product or just a product to offset coloring my hair/toning my hair etc. I just finished off my last use of the product. I don’t think I would buy again but it’s not bad. I think it is just slightly less effective than olaplex. I don’t notice a huge difference but I do feel like it helps a little bit when used as directed with bond maintenance. My main goal for using this was just to maintain the integrity of my hair while trying to grow out my natural hair. Recently got a nice hair cut chopping off all the extra weight. The best remedy seems to just be to leave my hair alone entirely and chop some of it off but I notice some minor improvements with the use of hair masks, expensive shampoos, intense protein treatments and DIY hair masks and other expensive hair masks trying to remedy the damage I’ve done and grow my hair out. I would save your money but if you want to treat yourself this is one way of doing it

Deixa a desejar.

Improved hair after one use
A bit of my waves came back. I thought they were completely fried out of my hair from the bleach!

Surprisingly good
Works wonders! I've been using olaplex so I didn't have too much hopes for this product. But it was pleasantly surprising how good it is!!!!
