Love my kit! Endless hours of indoor sandcastle fun!I really enjoy all things art! from drawing, painting, to sculpting clay! This is a great lego like sandcastle kit! It gives you insanely detailed castles and creative freedom! I'm an adult, and I find myself playing with this for hours haha!!! I know this is something any kid would be thrilled to receive as a gift!!It's almost like kinetic sand, it definitely does not come apart, or crush as easy. I would say it feels like 40% clay, 60% kinetic sand!! A unique new compound I find myself using clay tools on! I'm thrilled with the quality of everything included!!

We were a little skeptical about using this with snow, but alas, worked just perfectly!! Was loads of fun making the castles, you would think we were kids!! Can only imagine how fun they will be at the beach. Great quality and price.

We enjoyed these and built some nice sandcastles. They are very well made, thick and sturdy. However, they are fairly expensive for what they are, a sand toy.I typically use a 5 gallon bucket, with the bottom cutout. With the removed bottom up, pack the sand in the bucket and then lift the bucket up and off. I've done that for years with great success. I got this kit to make it easier for the kids and splurged before going to the beach last year (2019 before covid-19). This kit is way more expensive than a five gallon bucket and you can get nice sandcastles either way.We actually used both methods at the same time. We used the 5 gallon bucket castle as the base for this kit's tower. Pack the 5 gallon bucket, leave the bucket in place and build this kits tower on top. After removing the blue molds, slip the 5 gallon bucket off and over everything. You'll have a much more impressive tower.

I really do like the idea of making more beach / snow toys that aid in creating fun sculptures. Unfortunately, with the sand at Sunset Beach in Northern California I wasn't able to get a very good outcome with this set. I was however, able to create some great sand castles from a $4 5-gallon bucket from Home Depot with the bottom cut out. So, I can't in good faith recommend buying this product for ~$40.

The sand smells terrible, it feels more like slime than sand, you can use it for molding but it doesn’t give the sand feeling. Don’t recommend it, there are better alternatives with better consistency and sand feeling

MY FIRST Sandcastle! My cousin was coming to Florida to stay with my family for Spring Break. She said that she wanted to build a sandcastle...I'm 36 and have NEVER built one before but I wanted to find the best product possible that made it "easy" to build and I wanted the "best looking" one. I looked at many other products on Amazon, but nothing else even came close to this. I liked how it "snaps off" on both sides. Long story short, my cousin and I made this awesome sandcastle! It was turning heads on the beach and the memories that were made that day with my family are priceless.
