Does the job.
Before installation, my scalp would itch a lot after washing my hair. Changing shampoos didn't solve the problem. Installing the water filter DID solve the problem. Installation was easy enough that I did it myself with no tools other than my hands. The filter fits fine for me without the teflon tape. I would absolutely order more of these.
