It really works! I have shoulder length graying and slightly curly hair that always 'frizzes' when I air dry it or I go outside ( I live in Florida). I'm using this comb and my flat iron to straighten my hair. I'm amazed at how well it works, leaving my hair smooth and straight. Hair stays straight until I shampoo too. (3 days between each shampoo).I wash and condition my hair, then towel dry hair. Then I work in a small amount of Moroccan oil into my hair and then I comb my hair with a large wide-tooth gap comb. I let my hair air dry a little bit, but my hair is still pretty damp and I'm almost ready to use this comb with my flat iron (set to 190-220 degrees heat depending on how much time I have). Before using the comb and flat iron, I also apply hair products (heat protector and volume increase products) to my hair and comb through hair. Then I follow directions for the comb (keeping/using the comb in front of flat iron as I straighten small sections of hair). It takes awhile, at first, but goes faster as you get comfortable using this comb. I've not had any problems with it tangling in my hair or any broken comb teeth. Great product. I wish I had something like this years ago.

For those of you that have keratin treatments and/or a Brazilian Blowout and you find it hard to achieve smooth, glossy hair on your own, this is the tool for you. The only way I can describe this comb is that it's like a "chase" comb on steroids. A chase comb is basically a heat resistant fine tooth comb you use in conjunction with a flat iron. It will help you achieve smooth glossy strands, but it can be a little difficult to manipulate both a flat iron and chase comb at the same time. The Herstyler allows you to slightly grip sections of hair (following behind a flat iron), which causes the needed tension to pull strands straighter. This helps to smooth out knots, frizz or coarse hair strands. (Warning: don't force this step. If hair is too tangly, section hair to gently comb out the tangles before doing any ironing. Basically, you don't want to iron your tangles in, like a badly ironed cotton shirt.)It also helps to use a good thermal protector/and or hair serum to help the flat iron and Herstyler "slip" through your strands.

This product makes straightening my hair much easier. It has a hinged design which is a big improvement over my previous product that used the the tension from the curved plastic in place of mechanical hinge. It will probably last longer too.The seller followed up with me to be sure I was satisfied with my order.

It protects your hands from holding the hot hair from the iron. It feels firm and holds hair in place. A good value for 2.

I love these comms. I have 3 of my own and I have bought so many and given to friends to use when straightening their hair. It makes it so easy to style my hair and my friends that have one love theirs. They are so inexpensive. There are many different brands out there but this is my favorite because of the durability and the cost. I would recommend everyone that straightens their hair use one.

Product arrived yesterday but with only ONE item enclosed. Why advertise as “stylish set of two“ (blue) when it is shipped with only one item? I purchased this to replace my Goody product which is no longer made. The basic idea of this product is to protect the hands and keep the hair in a nice straight line while using this product in one hand while using a flat iron with the other hand.

These are the best straightening Combes I’ve ever purchased we use these a lot and they have held up so great they don’t pull your hair or stick together like other brands stop thinking and searching and get these already trust me !!
