Worked on my rusty old Yamaha rear shocker. Steel seems quite hard and tough.

Do the job
Easy to change the heads to what you want. Their strong enough to get a smack from a hammer if needed. The only thing I will say if your working without any gloves they are abut sharp on bare hands around the edges of the handle but if you are wearing gloves you barely notice.
