Yum Asia Oyu Digital Instant Hot Water Dispenser with white 'Hidden Under' LED touch display, 4 Litre capacity, Ecoboil, InstaHEAT technology, 220-240V UK/EU Power

Previously I was using a Breville hot water dispenser but the chrome effect plastic was getting a coating of limescale I couldn't fully remove, the water had a bit of an odd taste to it so I decided to look for a replacement.I spent a lot of time trying to find something that ticked all of the boxes (the main two being a large tank and no strange taste to the water) and as I was on the verge of giving up for the moment, I stumbled across the Yum Asia Oyi.It's one of the more expensive options but I can honestly say it's one of the best appliances I have bought in a long while. It is easy to setup, has a larger water tank than most and tea's, hot chocolates all taste great.It's easy to configure the volume of water dispensed and the temperatures and the ability to dispense room temperature water is useful as well.It does come with an attachment to basically provide a raised drip tray which is useful for standard sized mugs to reduce any risk of splash. It pours smoothly so any splashing would be minimal regardless.When you tell it to dispense some boiling water, I was amazed at how quick it begins to pour. On most, it will boil water in a separate, usually hidden tank that is filled from the main tank and once boiled, will dispense it but this one boils as it pours and it works excellently.On top of that, it's a lot quieter than my previous one when boiling.Absolutely recommend this!

* Commentaire original du 26 novembre 2019 :Grand réservoir de 4L. Je pensais que cela serait gigantesque, mais finalement c'est fort pratique. Cela évite de faire trop souvent des remplissages et cela part plus vite que ça en a l'air. Il est très simple à remplir aussi.Pour une tasse de 250ml à 99°C, cela prend 45s pour couler (dont 5s de préchauffage).J'ai surélevé la tasse en plaçant un objet de 5cm de haut en dessous, car sinon cela fait des éclaboussures. Je regrette que le support de tasse ne puisse pas se relever et se mettre à plusieurs hauteurs différentes.Pour brancher la machine sur une prise française, j'ai d'abord commandé un adaptateur UK/FR. Le prix baissera sans doute quand on commencera à trouver des produits Xiaomi sur amazon (comme le Xiaomi VIOMI APP Control 4L).Je mets 1 étoile en moins à cause du prix et des éclaboussures.* Mise à jour du 10 juin 2024Visiblement le nouveau modèle est livré avec un accessoire de support de tasse pour relever les "petites" tasses ainsi qu'avec une prise Schuko EU donc plus besoin d'adaptateur. Les 2 défauts qu'il avait ont disparu ! (pour ma part, je suis déçu de ne pas pouvoir obtenir l'accessoire de support de tasse pour relever les petites tasses...)Après 4,5 années d'utilisation intensive, la machine fonctionne toujours bien. De temps en temps je frotte le calcaire sur la buse de sortie de l'eau pour que le jet ne parte pas de travers (avec une brosse à poils durs).Je passe ma note à 5 au lieu de 4.En cas d'absence sur ~1 mois ou plus, je vous conseille de vider le reservoir si vous ne voulez pas vous retrouver avec des algues :)

This water dispenser is brilliant, easy to use and looks stunning in the kitchen. I was looking for something that was going to make my life a lot easier as having arthritis in both hands using a kettle was getting harder and harder. Looked at some of the other brands but this one stood out as it holds 4 litres and had a digital display panel which is so easy to use. Very slimline and doesn’t take up much space on the kitchen worktop and I don’t know why I didn’t get one sooner!! There was a slight chemical taste in the first few drinks but that soon disappeared after being in use regularly. One comment said that the water wasn’t hot enough for making a cup of tea. How wrong that is, the water at its highest temperature comes out no different than from a boiled kettle and by only giving you the amount you want it’s very cost effective, and instant hot water what more could you want. Would highly recommend this product, it’s been a game changer for me!!

I wasn't sure about the bright white colour but it looks nicer than I thought.Have had a couple of the popular brand hot water dispensers before but this one beats them by a country mile!Can finally fit my big 750ml coffee tumbler under the spout without having to tip it or lift the whole machine up to remove it!Love that you can set it to dispense up to 500ml so I no longer have to dispense 2 lots to fill my tumbler.The water temperature selection is also handy (hottest settings gives much hotter water than my previous ones too).Very simple to use and speed of heating/dispensing is pretty fast.I actually enjoy making my coffee now.

I have Sakura rice cooker from the same brand ahich I bought about 4 years back and it is working perfectly without any problems even after daily usage. So I trust in this brand to make quality products. So far fully satisfied with water heater also. It has great features and sleek design.
