Not for M50 engines.
Product description is incorrect, this ICV will not work with M50b25 engines as the inlet diameter is not correct. Wish I could get a refund.

Hit or Miss
These do in fact work, but the question is for how long. I had the first one for 2 years, this one lasted 2 months.

Great! Recommend
Bought this as a temporary replacement as I suspected mine needed to be changed. Car would stall after starting and now it runs great! Idle is pretty high now (around 1600) but I will most likely be purchasing a higher quality replacement soon which will hopefully fix that issue.

Very good so far...
So far has done the trick for my e30 convertible.....has a steady idle , but check for other vacuum leaks....this will cause a ruff idle condition.....This is a very good alternative to buying the overpriced BMW part.....

Worked for me
After eliminating everything else this solved my surging idle and acceleration problems. Compared to an OE unit its worth the gamble.

BMW E30 IDLE CONTROL VALVE
This part looks like the OEM part that I needed to replace causing an erratic fast 1100 RPM engine idle. Easy to install but only worked for less than 1 day. I Uninstalled it and tested with a volt meter. It didn't register to spec. Turned for refund.

Not Great
These are hit or miss. I had one that lasted me a year. Replaced it with the same product because it’s cheaper than getting a Bosch. The second one I got gave me idling problems almost instantly. Seems like a better idea to shell out the extra money for a part that works.
