Honestly, these are good. I’m a pencil snob. These are the only budget pencils I have and repeatedly buy. There is an icy blue color that I absolutely love and need. I’m generally not a fan of knock off pencils because they suck but these are good. They are beautiful to look at and the performance difference is actually pretty subtle.If your paper has enough texture you can get amazing results out of the couple of layers that the lead is limited to.Creamy ish texture. No lead breakage.

I love sets like this. The colors are all incredibly close in look to the next while having their own unique color. This is a must have for artists who are looking for quality and unique colors.

Nice colors, but as with a regular pack of colored pencils, there’s always too many of yellow!!! I would’ve liked more pinks or lavenders. And it’s difficult finding single pencils in certain colors. I do go to Michael’s at times, but they’re very pricey and are usually out of my favorite colors! I hate buying a whole set just for one color!!!!

I am an avid colorist, and have wanted a true set of pastels. I love Brutfuner and only recently discovered they had their own set. The colors are gorgeous, but it is hard to achieve a a smooth consistency. This of course could be my own shortcoming - far fetched but true - but I wonder if any true pastel is difficult to easily use. The packaging is very standard, just a cardboard box, but then I didn’t buy them for the packaging. All in all, not bad, glad I got them.

These are really nice for the money. They are soft, blendable, and layer well. They are pigmented for $15 pencils. I really like them and recommend them.

This pastel set is a great addition to your other pencils. Very pigmented and buttery.

If you're gonna manufacture a dupe (Holbein), at least make sure the product is close to, if not equally as good as the original. These pencils are low-end. They are a nightmare to try to blend, and they are hard as rocks. Now, I'm not the usual coloring book Prismacolor zombie that likes to use and needs soft pencils to compensate for the fact that I can't blend properly or don't wanna learn. I mainly use Schpirrer Farben (excellent oil-based pencil for a low price), Faber Castell Goldfabers and Koh-I-Noors. I am used to a harder oil-based pencil now and prefer them to Prismacolors (oil-based pencils force you to learn and get better). Having said this, I am telling you that Brutfruners are HARD and blend poorly.BRUTFRUNER PENCILS WON'T BLEND.
