The knife works beautifully. It’s extremely sharp edit with a nice weight and balance. The knife is also very well made and looks disabled. The packaging is also relatively environmentally friendly.

Very sharp, comfortable to hold, nice looking. Was surprised they are not recommended for dishwasher use (according to the box/packaging), but that's a small price to pay for a high quality knives at a reasonable price.

I bought a set of Jamie’s knives 10 years ago and I’m still using them. So when my brother wanted knives for Christmas I didn’t hesitate in which make to buy.They arrived promptly but the actual box was completely smashed. The Amazon delivery box wasn’t damaged at all which meant the person sending it knew it was damaged when they packed it up. So I sent it back and reordered another set. Sadly this came in exactly the same condition which was infuriating as it was a gift.I complained to Amazon and they immediately gave me a partial refund which was appreciated but I did have to give a gift in a less than acceptable condition.The knife block itself is a solid, lump of wood that is turned well and very smooth. It is covered in white dust which needs a wipe down and gets better with use. The knives are individually wrapped and very sharp. The knifes sit in the hand well with a good weight and fit the block well.I’m hoping they last for my brother for as long as the set I am using has lasted.In summary, I would buy again but preferably not for a gift.

Excellent set of knives. I'm not a chef but this is the best set of kitchen knives I've ever owned. Have used them solidly for a couple of months so far and they are still razor sharp and I've not had to sharpen them yet.
