Great simply AM/FM radio for elderly
Great loud speaker, good reception, easy to use for elderly. Using large D cell rechargeable batteries, so should last a long time between charging periods. Plug lead supplied. Bonus light. Would purchase again.

Good reception
For its price - good performance in sound & reception.Sadly info on tuning control misleadingThere is NO fine tuning - just one tuning control

Great radio
Love this radio , had my old one for years but it gave up , I looked at all the reviews on quite a few radios and thought this had the best , Iβm not disappointed either , would recommend it ..

Bought for a ninety year old
Bought it because it has simple controls for a very old relative who lives on his own. I have tried him with a more complex radio but he could not get on with it. Surprisingly good sound quality

Cheap
The photograph online is about the only excellent feature of this offering. The photographer should be praised for the way they projected quality from this cheap plastic object. To be honest, I expected it to be a basic radio for use in the workshop, but itβs not even good enough for background noise. It has a job to pick up Radio 4 on fm! The sound is poor from a cheap speaker and distortion is considerable if the volume is increased. It will run on mains or batteries. The latter being the most expensive, of course.I should not be too churlish about its poor quality as I expected it to be pretty basic for the price, but I do find it annoying that it is, when you actually have it in your hands, far removed from the impression you have when you see it online.
