Does the job
This one’s an easy review, does the job as it should. It is good enough quality, easily reset and can be used multiple times. If you need to check Peak flow levels, I was curious for my asthma. For me, I probably didn’t need it but it’s something I have now.

no prescription requred
Peak flow meters shouldn't be used to diagnose asthma but can be useful for monitoring the condition on a regular basis. You can get them on prescription in the UK but when my previous one broke as it was less hassle to buy this than to take time off work to see my GP. It does the job and the colours make it look a bit less 'medical' than some others I've seen.

Stopped working
How can a simple, basic meter just stop? I don’t know either. Reliable for a few weeks and then nothing, just a stuck needle. Very disappointing.

Who the hell do you insert the colour coded tabs
I suffer from COPD, gives me a great indication of what kind of day Im in for. The colour tabs which are issued are for you to place ie: at the highest number you have obtained on a breath out, I cant for the life of me figure out how to fit them, the instructions as per usual are crap. I have to rely on memory

Does the job
Works ok but putting the markers is a bit fiddly and a waste of time, they are not needed as you can see exactly how much you blow, and although it is sturdy compared to other meters it is expensive for what it does,

Not the best to read exact
Great peace of kit. Been using a Bluetooth one for nearly a year and the readings always seemed high. The doctor recommended this one and it’s very accurate readings are on par with the surgeries
