Perfect size
Placed an overflow of a tall pretty pond plant inside, looks fantastic at the back of my pond, I was struggling to find one deep enough with a large enough diameter- absolutely delighted.

Perfect For Limited Needs
OK, it's a decent enough planter. It's got a subtle barrel design to it, and it's cheap - but it looks it. If you're looking to use it as a planter for a prize plant or a centrepiece, you can do better, but if you need it for limited purposes (I used it to set a water feature on top of it), it's ideal. There's been some discussion about what the sizing is - the top/aperture diameter is 34cm (of the one I bought anyway), the base diameter is 24cm and the height is 27cm.

Perfect for repotting a pot-grown Christmas Tree!
Arrived in a HUGE box, which I assume is the only size that could transport this size planter! It's certainly perfect for my needs to repot an alive spruce Xmas Tree, but I mistook how much compost and soil would be needed, so be ready to relegate your dead plant soil and a bunch of rocks or filler-mulch as this thing takes a lot of volume!!

50cm Barrel planter
Good size planter. I ordered this due to image showing it as having handles. When unpacked there were no handles, so disappointed. Delivery was excellent and packaged well.

Looks like Wood
Normally I do not like plastic garden planters, but I saw these and decided to have a go after all I would only loose the return carriage if I really disliked them.To my surprise the look like old barrels they are made from quality plastic I do hope its recycled and I forgot to ask before buying any plastic product,so if your buying ask. Anyway back to the review these planters are well made and have a natural looking bark effect and hoop detail. They have no drainage holes so unless you are only putting an other plant pot inside hole will need to be made. I drilled 6 large hole using drill with wide cutting bit, this needs to carefully done as it's not a flexible plastic use the drill at a slow speed and only light pressure allow the drill to work it's own way. These pots take alot of conpost to fill I cheated by putting some old plastic sections that were on there last legs in as a filler as I was planting Lilies and there stong roots will easily twist around the fillers. I then suggest you put the planters where they are going to be situated as they are very heavy when filled,As you will have noticed I am a big fan of these planters they have changed my opinion on garden tubs in general you will have to pay a little more for high quality ones but they are at least a quarter of what you would pay for a good ceramic pot. So if you were like me a " Tub Snob " take the plunge there are high quality pots out there which are not ceramic Highly Recommended
