Q: can it be wrapped around your knee?

You can sew a button and loop on or velcro to wrap round knee or arm. I did and works fine

Q: Does this product only have European plug

this product came with a three pin plug as used in the U.K.

Q: If you want to use the pad at night like a hot bottle water, how could it produce some heat all night long if it switches off automatically?

It does switch off automatically for safety reasons but it isn't designed to be used like a hot water bottle, again, for safety reasons, if that's what you need then a hot water bottle- or a modern gel-filled version really is what you need, and it won't be plugged in to the grid! Merry Christmas

Q: Is the high setting really hot or is this product a victim of new eu rules ? I had to return a pad that was no warmer on high than our current 1 at #2

I sometimes turn it off after a few minutes when it is hot, and then turn it straight back on, which does seem to get it hotter.... I have had a dreamland pad before, and this gets hotter than that did, but cannot compare it to any other... It makes my back very warm and sweaty if I leave it on long enough
