Waboba Waboba Pro Waboba Pro Ball Bouncing Ball One Size, Assorted Colours

Having had experience of Waboba balls for a few years now, I decided to buy one for a recent holiday. Looking up the various types they had, this one is heavier and faster than the orange and blue original that makes for great competitive play and if you're a bit of a sadist like me, aiming a deliberate shot at other people (a game mode many of my friends now actually employ).If you get one of these and ever have the opportunity to cover a decent space in a pool, a good game a friend and I came up with (that I got other people into along the way) is spacing out really far away from each other, and doing long arching throws to other each other (or other players if there is more than 2 of you). They then have to catch it with one hand and throw it to someone else with that hand. If the receiving player drops or doesn't catch the ball, the thrower gets a free shot at the catcher who chooses to either take the hit to the front or back with their arms held out for maximum body coverage. The thrower then does the usual skimming shot across the water in an attempt to hit the catcher. If the catcher flinches or instinctivley moves away from the oncoming hit, the thrower gets another free throw. Whether the thrower hits or misses, the game continues from the catcher.

We already have a Waboba basic and had great fun with it for the past couple of years, (it's still as good as the first time we used it by the way and it's still great fun).BUT, my son has got a bit bigger and his throwing distance has also grown.This ball is a serious outdoor water missile, (don't even attempt to use it in an indoors pool unless the pool is empty of other swimmers and over 30 metres). This ball is for LONG DISTANCE and because of this you need to stand well apart, (20-25 metres whilst warming up and gradually spread further apart).If anybody can make this ball bounce more than four times I take my hat off to you!To echo the title, "Great Fun!"Enjoy.

I bought this to take away on holiday for pool fun times. Has a great feel to the ball, very solid (dense even) and floats so you don't spend your time diving for the ball every two minutes. What was a little disappointing though was that I found it very difficult to 'bounce' the ball in the water when throwing. It didn't seem to bounce or skim the water as suggested no matter what angle/velocity I tried. This wasn't a major problem, as you can get some good distance on a throw due to the make up of the ball itself, so leads to a great game of catch! Would highly recommend if you are not bothered about the bouncing ability. Obviously this also works great out of the water too and can even be used as a type of stress ball to squeeze! I kind of want to buy another 2 to use them to juggle with! Have fun with your balls!

This is brilliant- it takes alittle bit of practice to get the ball to bounce on water but it certainly does what it claims to. A large expanse of water is ideal and preferably without too many obstacles (people) in the way, so isolated beach is ideal. It isn't all that robust in terms of material construction- quite soft material- but that is what makes it bounce, so just a word of warning that it isn't indestructible and abit of care needed to avoid it ripping on rock, etc. That being said though, it is a fabulous toy and a source of huge amusement!

Brilliant - took this on holiday with us to the Caribbean and the kids (aged 25,26 and 27!) had great fun in the sea with the ball.Its a really cool plaything, very sturdy and robust and really does bounce across water. They actually manged not to lose it too. Delighted with this purchase and would recommend it to children of all ages!

If you enjoy throwing a ball around when you are at the seaside, this takes the fun to another level. Having the ball bounce up at you from the water surface makes the catching more challenging and more spectacular. It is for older kids of all ages as it requires a bit of power to be most effective, and it can travel extremely far and extremely fast. If you have not tried one of these balls, you must.

Excellent bit of fun, and bounces on water as stated.The ball quite soft but firm, and its covered in a nylon skin. It does exactly as it is supposed to and what it was designed for.Based on our experience so far I can highly recommend this product.Purchase without any concerns and have some fun.
