Changed our meals completely
Love this - we now organise all of our meals weekly and it has made our shopping list much better to! I find it works best with chalk board pens rather than chalk, and it would be nice if you got something with the order to use but still super happy I purchased.

The surface of the board is not flat as it appears in the photo so the writing will not be great. I was very disappointed by that. My board also arrived with the cord not attached, as the picture shows, and the hole for the cord was just too small for the diameter of the cord so I could not fit it in myself. Overall I was disappointed and asked for a refund, which was given quickly.

Good Solid Slate Product
Good quality product, solid slate. Easy to hang and to use. My one minor point would be that the product picture is slightly misleading, as it makes the board appear larger than it actually is. I've compared the picture with the physical product and it looks as though the picture has been slightly stretched. There are dimensions specified in the listing, but some people do buy on sight and, for this, it could seem misleading. Good product though and we are pleased with it.

Very disappointing- I should have read the reviews!
The slate arrived this morning and there was no chalk included even though the description stated there would be. The jute cord was not attached and as you’ll see from the photo there is no way that the diameter of the hole is big enough to feed the cord through without splitting it completely and generally making it look ridiculous. I’m all for shabby chic but this is too far! I blame myself for not looking at the reviews as it seems these problems were experienced by other buyers also. Very disappointing that the seller/manufacturer has not acted on the previous feedback
