This model of Hasegawa is a lot less detailed then other models I bought from them. Although this is probably reflected in the price, which was quite cheap for such a large model. The parts fit ok, but there is not much surface detail. The plastic is also softer then, for example, models from Revell. But with a bit of effort this modelkit can be made into a nice looking aircraft.The only unfortunate thing, are the decalls, which are very basic and limited to the soviet redstar and aircraft id-number.

Recommended to anyone interested in cold war aircraft
I have been trying for some time to obtain a 1/72 model of this aircraft. Hasegawa have a reputation for producing high quality kits and I was delighted when I found it on Amazon. It turned out to be a bit of a disappointment because of its age. The moulds are apparently well worn and this shows with very little surface detail on the model and ill fitting parts. That said, it is an important aircraft and will be of interest to anyone wishing to build cold war aircraft. It is quite a complicated model and I would recommend it to anyone experienced in the hobby.
