Great cars, holds the track very well at fast speeds; track is very small so it would good if you already have extra (15 inch) straight track.

Bought this as a gift. My nephew loved it. Cats run on the track well. Would definitely recommend

Bought for our grandson. It's a great track and easy to put together although we find it's hard to keep the cars moving they just stop and you have to keep readjusting

I returned the product immediately. There were no problems with the return. The track sections fit into each other individually, but there was no way to complete the layout. It does not fit together as a course. The curved sections were obviously mis-manufactured, cast to the wrong dimensions. Even putting four curves together to make a circle was impossible, proving the point. I had ignored the reviews that mentioned the track pieces "not staying together," not realizing what was being said. What that describes is stretching the track to try to strongarm it together, but it just comes apart somewhere else. That doesn't work because it doesn't address the real issue, the curve sections are not 1/4 of a circle. They are off significantly. Somebody really screwed up in the manufacture. All these kits need to be recalled. Don't buy it until you know for sure that's happened.

This is the third type if AFX track I have had. Each had different types of connecting methods. When I assembled the layout it was an inch out if alignment. I modified the curves by removing material near the inner radius. After several hours I got it close to lining up and was usable. The tires come off the wheels constantly. I used Woodland Scenics Landscape Adhesive to keep the tires on. After all of this it operates okay. The cars are very fast and the G-Force design keeps them stuck to the track. It is a shame that the track was so poorly made. I have raced AFX cars off and on for 50 years and I bought this track for my nephew's children to enjoy. Hopefully they fixed the design flaw of the curves because I would like to buy some of the add on pieces to create different layouts to race on.

I loved the track and cars. Works great in general. But the track tends to separate alittle and the cars come off the track. If you get it set up right it is perfect. Highly recommend

While it's true that this set is a small, tight figure eight, I don't think we should have had so much trouble keeping track sections from separating from each other. It's gotten better but we still have to be very careful to keep track sections from separating. For as much as this set cost us, they include NO track clips....you have to buy a 100-pack for around $40 (???). And one more thing: one car is defective: high pitched whine from the motor, car vibrates & shakes so it mostly flies off the track on the curves. I've inspected the rear axle assembly and wheels and they look fine, so I'm assuming the problem is in the motor or motor drive shaft. I really enjoyed the AFX sets of my youth, and I was hoping to expose my grandsons to AFX racing over the holidays, but unfortunately it didn't work out.
