Less than zero UK support. Somfy UK deny all knowledge
However satisfied I may be with product, the level of support from Somfy UK is nothing short of APPALLING. When I had a problem and tried to contact the company, the telephone helpline just cuts you off dead. When I emailed the provided customer service address, this was the response.I am surprised, we do not have the MyLink in the UK and cannot support this at all I am afraid (in fact I have never even seen one). Unfortunately this is a US product and you will need to contact someone there to discuss your issue.Aiden AedyTechnical Department

Easy to set up, install, and use.
Very easy to set up and install. The alarm sounds at a very high pitch. In the event of an alarm it will sound for a few minutes only. This is the same as my previous Visonic PowerMaster alarm, which the Somfy is replacing. Sounding for longer just draws attention to the fact that nobody is at home, and domestic alarms are not allowed to sound for longer than 20 minutes anyway. The app lets me know that there is an incident within seconds on my telephone. This can be verified by looking at the Somfy cameras, and appropriate action taken...like manually sounding the alarm for longer if that is what I want to do...or ringing the police...or registering my displeasure with the miscreant by telling them via the speaker on the camera.

Good, but no way to mains power.
Easy to install, easy to set up, however it's shame it has no way to hardwire it though, as it's battery operated it will only sound for 3 minutes, which may not be long enough to convince my neighbours something bad is happening.It would be really nice if somfy used the batteries as a back up and limit the siren when on battery power, but allow a mains connection to enable the siren to sound for a longer time.
