Good quality, long combination slip-joint pliers
IPS/Igarashi make great quality pliers in Japan, and have been doing it for a very long time. These are not needle-nose, but a long nose, fairly thin, combination slip-joint pliers. The spring function works well and makes the pliers easier to handle and use. After a drop of oil and slight adjustment of the nut, they operate smoothly with no slop in the joint. The jaws line up well. The chrome plating and general finish is good. The grips aren't slippery and feel like they'll last a long time. I like these pliers.
