This neck heating wrap is amazing. I spent a lot of time reading reviews on other neck heating pads/ wraps and this one of course stood out compared to others. It holds the heat very well after you microwave it and I feel it’s very safe as far as not worrying you’ll burn a hole in it in the microwave which is a big reason I steered away from other neck pads. The smell of this is very earthy. It does smell like lavender but also reminds me of wood or something in the woods. I like the smell and it’s very comfortable & soft around your neck and on your skin. My dad was also very impressed at how nice it heats up. It warms you up after you’ve been outside in the cold this time of year and it loosens up your stiff neck, which is exactly why I bought it.

Bought this for my wife who's having some neck issues and she loves it. Super soft and the shape fits perfectly around the neck and shoulders. There is a slight rise in the back that sits high on the neck so she gets the heat right where she needs it. It's got a very calming fragrance that's not overbearing and the weight is perfect. Holds heat pretty well and with 30 second to 1 minute reheats, it's very convenient. Comes with a nice storage bag made of the same material too. A great product that's well made and priced well.

Smells nice, warms up nice, the neck collar actually does work.I tried it this morning on my headache and after 1 hour and 2 heatings, the headache had receded. Unheard of.The only reasons this gets 4 stars is because:1) it is not washable. It has millet in it, so it cannot be washed. Bummer. and 2) I may or may not have recieved a "Return" because the item was not in its own storage baggie and it had popped out of the box inside the amazon box. I'd have expected it to be in its storage bag or at least better secured.

I purchased this product a few years ago and absolutely loved it. I used it almost daily for tight neck muscles, headaches and shoulder pain. Yes, the neck part didn’t stay up very well but I just tied a ribbon around it and problem solved.The new version is worse in every way. The filling seems different and is significantly heavier. It took seven minutes to get it warm enough to be helpful in the microwave. Seven! The instructions say 1:30. It didn’t stay warm for long. I sadly can no longer recommend this product and frankly it seems dishonest to keep using the same product listing when it’s a different (worse) product than before.

I suffer from chronic occipital muscle tightness, which leads to stress headaches. I've been told to keep heat on my neck and massage it as much as possible, to keep the muscles from getting tight. The massage part I have down, but the heat part isn't always easy. Enter: Geniani Microwavable Heating Pad. I just pop this baby into the microwave, following the instructions, and I'm able to sit for 20+ minutes with a comfortable, weighted pad on my shoulders. It feels like I'm at a day spa, no joke! I also love that it comes in a beautiful pouch (that you microwave the pad in) and I cannot tell you enough about how SOFT this pad (and the bag) are. I want clothes this soft! The best part about this pad is the design, though -- other pads I've seen just lay around you shoulders, but do nothing for your neck. This pad goes up around your neck like a popped collar, and really targets the occipital area that can cause so much tension and headache! After using this pad, I feel my shoulders have dropped and I no longer have that tension I had before. It's a Godsend, truly. Don't even hesitate to add this to your home! You won't regret it.

I just found myself having to reheat it too often. I'd put it in the microwave for awhile, then I'd have to rearrange it to get all of it warm. And then using it, it would cool off far too quickly to be helpful.The fabric was indeed very soft, and I really liked the feel of the weight, but the fragrance was non-existent to me and way too much hassle trying to keep it at a useable temperature. I ended up donating it to a local charity's thrift store. Hopes someone else enjoys it.

I work crazy long hours and have a lot of tension in my shoulders and back from stress. I try to spray lavender to help destress me so I already liked the smell. The heating pad is nice. (but it does go up just not as high think mid-neck)I would really recommend this product. I even got a nice letter from the company thanking me for my purchase which I thought was sweet.

I actually bought this pad when I was buying an electric heating pad for my back.First of all, they both have worked really better than I expected they would.This is not because of the price but because there are just so many similar-looking products on Amazon and sometimes I feel like I am taking my chances to pick the right one and I have a low standard on whatever I am buying on Amazon that I'm not really familiar with. So, if you are having the same trouble buying stuff on Amazon, I would say this pad won't disappoint you.The pad is easy to use (microwave for 2 min) and provides enough heat and pressure for about 20 minutes.It's really soft (I am really picky about softness -believe me) and preserves heat for a long time.I've used it for my stiff neck and shoulder and I think using the pad is better than putting a patch or pain relievers on them.It was a good choice.
