Nautical bell to be used in church
The bell will be installed in our church to ring at the start of Mass. It replaces an old one that could not be repaired. The new bell is hefty and should last a long time.

No screws were included. Other than that it's perfect. Great size. Perfect for my dinner bell :)

Nice bell, connector is very low quality not brass.
Gorgeous bell, however if you plan to utilize this in a marine environment beware. There is a small metal ring to link the bell to the ringer that is not brass, but very cheap metal. This will disintegrate quickly. I plan on buying a replacement before installing. It's unfortunate that every other component is well made, but they were cheap on that part.

POOR QUALITY AND NO ACCOUNTABILITY
Purchased this bell for our facility and it broke in less than 3 months. If you look at the photos, the eye bolt that holds the clapper which weighs almost 2lbs is inadequate and failed through normal use. When we contacted Amazon, they told us to contact the company that the bell is from and we did what we were told. After several attempts to contact Hampton Nautical with no luck, I went back to Amazon and they told me there was nothing they could do.We tried several more times to contact Hampton and we finally were able to contact Kevin at Hampton Nautical. After telling him what happened, Kevin said that Amazon was responsible because they had bought the bell from Hampton therefore it was Amazon’s responsibility.I went back to Amazon and they told me the same thing that I needed to go through Hampton. Kevin (Hampton) again said it was not their company’s responsibility because we did not buy it from them.I explained to Kevin that when you buy other products through a dealer, the ultimate responsibility regarding the quality of a product is the manufacturer. He again refused to accept to take responsibility.So we have paid over $100 for a bell that is poorly made and neither Amazon or Hampton will take responsibility for so we caution any buyer to purchase anything from this seller. Very disappointed in Amazon as well.

Lovely and loud
My new doorbell. Very attractive bell in a lovely dark blue. Loud enough for me to hear if someone comes to the door when I’m out in my garden.
