Thought it was a good product AND THEN 😫..
The media could not be loaded. Bought 2 of these items and really liked them. Now one of them doesn't function anymore. Doesn't stay down AT ALL as the spring linkage which is SUPPOSED to be there to help keep it up just makes it pop up right away. Litteraly, days after the return time period is expired!! 😫😰 VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Perfect door stopper
I have been looking for a longer door stopper for my door for quite sometime. This one worked perfect and looked really well made.

These "long" door stops work well on exterior doors where there's a thick weatherproofing threshold that makes the door height above the floor taller than an interior door would be. They would work fine on interior doors as well. In comparing many options on Amazon, I lost track of "rustproof" and I now notice these are painted steel. I live on an intra-coastal canal so we'll see how long the metal lasts. Steel is stronger than aluminum, so that's positive. I will say that the provided screws are the weak probably "cast" type that shear off (break off) at a very low torque. Even hand tightening the screws into my exterior solid wood door broke all of them, no matter how carefully I turned the screwdriver. I had to use some other strong screws to get this to work. The mounting bracket is also barely wide enough for your screwdriver to clear the lower mechanism so you have to go at a slight angle, which worsens the driving effort. On my fiberglass door, they worked just fine.
